Recently representatives from Lake Macquarie High School were invited to attend morning tea at IGA Woodrising. We were there as a recipient of $500 stemming from the fund raising activities conducted by the Community Chest program coordinated by IGA.
It is a program initiated by IGA with a view to distribute money raised from the proceeds of shopping dockets.
This is a fantastic program, not only community partnerships working together but local schools are the beneficiary.
Lake Macquarie High appreciates the generosity shown by Lisa Taylor and Suzanne Gibb and their team at IGA, Woodrising.
The $500 will be used as a school contribution to the Craig Johnston Soccer Academy.
We strongly encourage the school community to continue their support for IGA at Woodrising.
